Are you interested in the rule of law, human rights, and social change? Would you like to strengthen your advocacy skills and learn how young people can contribute to positive change in their communities? Would you like to work together with other young people to design and implement a public action marking International Youth Day?
Then “Meeting Point – Rule of Law Advocacy Workshop for Youth” is the right programme for you.
Over two days in Belgrade, we will explore what the rule of law means in everyday life, why equality before the law and the protection of human rights are essential to every democratic society, and how these principles are (or are not) applied in practice.
Through interactive workshops and discussions, we will address discrimination, stereotypes, the position of minority communities, and the challenges young people face in different local communities. Together, we will develop advocacy skills while designing and implementing a public action to mark International Youth Day.
What can you expect?
A two-day programme including:
- Interactive workshops and practical exercises
- Discussions on the rule of law, human rights, and equality before the law
- Group work and exchange of experiences with young people from different communities
- An introduction to the fundamentals of public advocacy
- The joint design and implementation of a public action marking International Youth Day
The working language of the workshop will be English.

Who can apply?
The workshop is open to young people from Serbia aged 18 to 30 who are interested in learning more about the rule of law, human rights, and public advocacy, while gaining practical knowledge and skills for active participation in social change.
Transportation and accommodation are provided for participants coming from outside Belgrade, while food will be provided for all participants throughout the duration of the programme.
All applicants will be informed about the results of the selection process after the application deadline.
