As part of the Festival of International Student Theatre (FIST) 2025, three youth-led performances addressed critical socio-political issues, offering a multidimensional reflection on democratic participation.

The workshops, supported by the Youth Initiative for Human Rights (YIHR), explored themes such as media manipulation, the conflict between public interest and private profit, and the environmental consequences concealed by sustainability discourse.

Through these workshops and performances, young participants critically examined power structures, the distribution of public resources, and the accountability of political and economic elites.

This initiative underscores the active role of youth in democratic processes, demonstrating their ability to foster public debate, question dominant narratives, and advocate for transparency and civic responsibility in an increasingly restrictive political environment.
