Higher Court Ruling Confirms Hate Speech From Informer Directed at Anita Mitić

In a first degree ruling on September 19th 2018, the Higher Court in Belgrade has established that the plaintiff Anita Mitić was not duly protected by her right to protection against hate speech, to which she is entitled to according to article 75 of the Law on Public Information and Media, and has determined that the defendants – the “Informer” daily newspaper team have breached the ban on hate speech.
