Youth Initiative for Human Rights organizes info sessions for all interested civil society organizations and informal groups that want to apply to Rights First Call for Submission of Project Proposals. In the following period there will be three info sessions for interested applicants: 
  • Novi Pazar: January 22, 2026 at 16:30 at UG Svetionik (Šabana Koče 11)
  • Preševo: January 26, 2026 at 13:00 at KC LIVRIT 
  • Online: January 23, 2026, at 12:00

Call for submission of project proposals will be presented at info sessions, along with the eligibility criteria, and there will be space for questions of interested civil society organizations and informal groups. 

Those interested in the online info session should fill in the application. The link for attendance at the info session will be distributed before the session. 

With this call for civil society organizations and informal groups, the Youth Initiative wants to support the efforts of citizens throughout Serbia to implement activities that will promote respect for basic human rights and influence the improvement of the rule of law. As part of the call, three projects of CSOs will be supported in the amount of up to EUR 10,000, as well as 7 projects of informal groups and CSOs in the amount of up to EUR 5,000. The Youth Initiative for Human Rights is implementing the project “Rights First”, with the financial support of the European Union, with the aim of strengthening participatory democracy and supporting Serbia on its path to EU membership by building the capacities of civil society organizations, with special focus on youth and marginalized groups. This project is being implemented by the Youth Initiative for Human Rights, the Independent Journalists’ Association of Vojvodina, the Human Rights Committee of Niš, Link from Sombor, Livrit from Preševo, the Vojvodina Civic Center and the Center for Academic Progress from Novi Pazar.
