Václav Havel Human Rights Prize 2019 awarded to YIHR!

The Regional Network of Youth Initiative for Human Rights has the great honor to announce that we have received the Vaclav Havel Human Rights Prize for our work on peacebuilding and reconciliation in the Balkans. The prize was presented at a special ceremony today, 30th September at the Palais de l’Europe in Strasbourg, on the opening day of the autumn plenary session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE).

EuroPride 2022 in Belgrade

At the Annual General Meeting of The European Pride Organisers Association (EPOA), Belgrade Pride was selected to be the host and organiser of the annual European event EuroPride in 2022, leaving behind other candidates – Barcelona, Lisbon, and Dublin.

Pride caravan through nine cities in Serbia

The Pride caravan which, through events and small marches in nine Serbian cities, announced this year’s Belgrade Pride. The caravan visited Kraljevo, Kragujevac, Zrenjanin, Novi Sad, Suboticu, Šabac, Valjevo, Niš and Vranje. The aim of the caravan was to invite citizens across Serbia to Belgrade Pride, as well as to support local LGBT communities and send them the message that they are not alone.
