Publication „Perspectives of a Multiethnic Society in Kosovo” is a pioneer step in establishing an academic cooperation between Belgrade and Prishtina. It is the result of work of ten associates of the Faculty of Political Sciences of the University of Belgrade and the Department of Political Science at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Prishtina.
The Sarajevo Youth Summit, organized by Youth Initiative for Human Rights, will be held in Sarajevo on 14-16 October 2015. The Summit will gather around 150 young leaders from the Western Balkans and the European Union, as well as representatives of organizations and leaders from conflict and post-conflict zones across the world.
The Youth Initiative for Human Rights started monitoring certain criminal and litigation proceedings before local courts in 2011 for the purpose of analyzing the degree of application of the fair trial principle in the judicial system of the Republic of Serbia.
Youth Initiative for Human Rights (YIHR) most cordially supports the work with young people on dealing with the past which is a necessary condition for reconciliation in the region as well as sustainable regional cooperation, and the efforts of the Youth Education Committee in this area. It is high time the state institutions recognized this fact and offered support to this and similar groups of young people who assume the task of the highest public interest.
