We present to you our 2024 Annual Report! A report that brings together all of our work through our programs in democratization, human rights, and transitional justice, as well as our actions, publications, and research—now all compiled in one place.
Through 24 programs, we reached 1,043 new participants, enriching our activist base, many of whom took part in our 6 successfully organized gatherings. As always, this year we volunteered and helped organize Belgrade Pride, took part in and organized commemorative events, beautified the streets and walls of our cities, and maintained strong regional ties.
As we spent the year speaking loudly and clearly about the values the Youth Initiative for Human Rights firmly stands for, we were honored to receive the Aachen Peace Award. This award crowns our work in 2024, but we share the credit with everyone who contributed to making it possible.
That’s why YIHR presents this report—to remind us all of what’s possible when we raise our voices for peace, human rights, and truth to be our everyday reality!
