We remind you that Minister Paunović stated in the aforementioned show: “If I were Slobodan Milošević, I would have ethnically cleansed Kosovo in 1998.” Minister Paunović’s statement represents hate speech and shows that the guardians of the criminal ideas of Slobodan Milošević are still in power in Serbia, which led to massive human suffering, bombing and destruction of the country, numerous international and domestic court verdicts for war crimes, the loss of control over Kosovo after the signing of the Kumanovo Agreement, as well as the permanent damage to the international reputation of Serbia and the Serbian people.
Therefore, we call on the Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia, Đuro Macut, to immediately dismiss Snežana Paunović from the position of Minister of State Administration and Local Self-Government. We also call on Ivica Dačić, the president of the Socialist Party of Serbia, to publicly distance himself from the said statement and to exclude Snežana Paunović from membership in the party, because with such a statement she showed that she is not worthy of public office.
