This exhibition is a testament to the courage of young people from Serbia and Kosovo who have built bridges of understanding and solidarity together. Through engaging multimedia works, with the help of curator Simon Kurtja, the youth present stories that were the result of Youth Exchanges and Storytelling Workshops on Dealing with the Past. Over the past year, 60 young people from Kosovo and Serbia have invested their knowledge and creativity to create a space for discussing sensitive topics and overcoming imposed differences. The Youth Exchanges and Storytelling Workshops on Dealing with the Past are part of the “Cross Border Youth Dialogue” project, jointly implemented by the Youth Initiative for Human Rights in Serbia and Kosovo.
“Stories of Ongoingness” is not just an exhibition of multimedia works—it is a manifestation of dialogue, hope, and shared aspirations for a better future. This event is part of the “New Mindshifters Generation” project, which invites us to overcome divisions and tensions together and build a world where stories provide strength for positive change. The exhibition will also be open on September 20 and 21st from 5 to 8 PM.
“Stories of Ongoingness” has already been presented to audiences in Pristina and received excellent reactions, and now it is Belgrade’s turn to witness the power of stories as a means for reconciliation and progress.
