{"id":19341,"date":"2025-10-02T14:38:32","date_gmt":"2025-10-02T13:38:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/yihr.rs\/?p=19341"},"modified":"2025-10-02T15:12:02","modified_gmt":"2025-10-02T14:12:02","slug":"open-call-for-rylmp-fellows-2025-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/yihr.rs\/en\/open-call-for-rylmp-fellows-2025-2026\/","title":{"rendered":"Open call for RYLMP Fellows 2025\/2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Up to twenty selected young people from three countries will participate in a year- long programme with offline activities taking place in Tirana, Skopje and Belgrade. Throughout the year they will undergo series of offline and online training sessions with experienced mentors from Albania, North Macedonia and Serbia, spend up to one week in all three capitals &#8211; Tirana, Skopje and Belgrade &#8211; mastering their research skills, meeting decision makers and activists, wrapping up their policy papers while getting to know other fellows and their culture and tradition, and learn how to independently implement effective, data-driven advocacy initiatives on a national level.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Selected participants will have a stipend that will cover travel, accommodation, allowances, and work on a policy paper. In addition, selected advocacy actions will be financially supported with mini grants.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The working language of all activities <\/span><b>will be English.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">More information about the RYLMP can be found <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/yihr.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/More-about-RYLMP.pdf\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">here<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The timeline of the entire project can be found <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/yihr.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Timeline-PLAN-B.pdf\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">here<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>WHAT ARE THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF A RYLMP FELLOW?<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A Regional Youth Leadership Mobility Programme Fellow must commit to the following responsibilities:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Participate in all onsite events <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">such as the kick off event, the study visits during the mobilities in all three countries and the final event.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Attend at least 80% of the online <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">capacity building trainings.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Maintain communication on a regular basis <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">with other fellows, their team mentor, and their local point of contact of the RYLMP Programme.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Write 1 policy paper <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">in cooperation with other fellows from the region in one of the thematic areas of this open call.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Conceptualize, support and implement 1 local advocacy campaign <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">on the topic of their paper in cooperation with other fellows of the programme and their mentor.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><b>ELIGIBILITY OF APPLICANTS<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Eligible candidates fulfill the following criteria: Aged 21-30;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Have Albanian\/Macedonian\/Serbian citizenship and are residents within the territory of the country of citizenship;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Have a good command of the English language, both written and spoken;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Are youth activists\/young researchers\/young professionals from the civil society sector, academia, the private sector, or freelance;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">University students pursuing a Master&#8217;s or Ph.D., as well as recent graduates, are welcome to apply.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>HOW TO APPLY?<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Interested applicants can apply online via the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/GffaHp5zsTN6iHKb8\"><b>a<\/b><b>p<\/b><b>plication form<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In order to apply, interested candidates should submit in the application form the following documents :<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"3\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">CV<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"3\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A short statement of motivation<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"3\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Completed <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/1BFKSxYFPISH5CXqyNQBNXK-qzQMZ2aA-\/edit?usp=sharing&amp;ouid=117105274158246525895&amp;rtpof=true&amp;sd=true\"><b>Policy<\/b> <b>paper &amp; advocacy template<\/b><\/a> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">related to the following thematic areas in their home countries. More about the thematic areas <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/yihr.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Thematic-areas-.pdf\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">can be found here<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3><b>SELECTION PROCESS<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The selection process will consist of two phases: the evaluation of written applications and interviews with chosen candidates.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All written applications will be assessed by a panel of evaluators, which includes representatives from each partner organization and RYLMP Alumni from previous editions. Every applicant will receive updates regarding their application status; however, only those who successfully pass the written evaluation will be invited for an online interview.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Following the completion of the interview process, applicants will receive confirmation of their application status via email in November 2025.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><b>Important notes:<\/b><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Only fully completed applications will be processed.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Applications fully generated by AI will be disqualified. Limited use of AI tools (e.g for grammar checking or formatting purposes) is permitted but all ideas, analysis advocacy strategies and the letter of motivation must be original work of the applicant.
