Through an exchange of letters with Faruk, a friend who had left the city earlier, the film reveals a story of lost youth, love for music, friendship, fear, and hope.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;I longed for you like salt, though there is bread, there is everything,&#8221;<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> writes Samir to his friend Faruk. This simple yet profound sentence highlights the hardship of life in a besieged city and the emotional consequences of war that do not fade.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The film reminds us that collective remembrance is not just an act of commemoration, but also an act of confrontation \u2014 necessary for regional reconciliation and building lasting peace. It is a process that requires the courage to look in the mirror as a society.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After the screening, attendees participated in an informal discussion, sharing their feelings and reflections. The evening concluded with a joint visit to the commemorative art performance by Women in Black at Republic Square in Belgrade.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We thank everyone who was part of this important event.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This event was realized with the assistance of the European Union.
