{"id":10102,"date":"2020-11-17T17:24:17","date_gmt":"2020-11-17T16:24:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/yihr.rs\/?p=10102"},"modified":"2020-11-17T17:24:17","modified_gmt":"2020-11-17T16:24:17","slug":"the-glorification-of-those-accused-for-war-crimes-is-unacceptable-always-and-under-any-circumstance","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/yihr.rs\/en\/the-glorification-of-those-accused-for-war-crimes-is-unacceptable-always-and-under-any-circumstance\/","title":{"rendered":"The glorification of those accused for war crimes is unacceptable always and under any circumstance"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The values that gather artists from Serbia and Kosovo are in direct opposition to the values of the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/kossev.info\/umetnici-u-kampanji-podrske-optuzenima-u-hagu-izgoreo-bilbord-u-gracanici\/\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cFreedom has a name &#8211; KLA\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/a> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">campaign<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The festival\u2019s mission is to connect people through the values of civil society&nbsp; &#8211; where there is no room for extreme nationalism; the principles of human rights &#8211; where there is no room for ethnic discrimination; and the value of justice &#8211; where there is no room for denying accountability for crimes.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Still, the \u201cMiredita, dobar dan\u201d festival does not take place in a vacuum, but in the Balkans, a place where nationalism, ethnic discrimination and hatred are deeply rooted. We will always fight against that &#8211; but there is no guarantee that we will prevail. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The recently held festival in Belgrade sent out <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/yihr.rsdodelom-nagrade-reditelju-ognjenu-glavonicu-zavrsen-festival-miredita-dobar-dan\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">a clear message of support<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for the work of the Kosovo Specialist Chambers and Specialist Prosecutor&#8217;s Office in the Hague.
