Youth Initiative for Human Rights<\/span><\/i>, <\/span>Civic Initiatives<\/span><\/i>, <\/span>Integra <\/span><\/i>NGO and <\/span>Human Rights Education Youth Network <\/span><\/i>(HREYN) are calling <\/span>young artists and cultural workers from Kosovo and Serbia <\/b>to apply for participation in an educational workshop titled: \u201cWhat did we inherit?\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n

The program will gather 18 young artists and cultural workers – nine from Serbia and nine from Kosovo – interested in the Kosovo – Serbia relations. <\/span><\/p>\n

The participants will attend an intense 2-day workshop led by an acclaimed artist and director where they will be invited to critically reflect on the process of <\/span>reconciliation and peace-building <\/b>and how it informs and is reflected in their artistic \/ creative practice. <\/span><\/p>\n

Their insights and artistic outlooks on the topic will be featured in a documentary film about artistic and cultural cooperation and exchange between Kosovo and Serbia. <\/b><\/p>\n

Post-workshop, the participants will benefit from 2-month online mentorship to refine and develop their ideas into an artwork \/ creative output through media of choice. <\/b><\/p>\n

Selected participants will be invited to attend a conference on the role of arts in peace-building in Brussels, January 2025. <\/b><\/p>\n

Selected works will be showcased during the next editions or events of the \u201cMiredita, dobar dan\u201d festival. <\/span><\/p>\n

The program takes place on September 19 – 22, 2024 in Belgrade. <\/strong><\/p>\n

The workshop takes place on September 20 & 21, September 19 & 22 are travel days. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Transportation and accommodation costs are covered by the organizers.<\/p>\n
